Job summary

Dr Kershaw’s Hospice in Oldham is seeking a Digital Marketing & Coordinator to raise awareness of services, events and fundraising activities. You will create content, manage social channels, and support SEO and CRM campaigns.

The role encompasses photography and videography, CMS updates, and collaboration with staff, volunteers and supporters to tell impactful stories. This is a permanent, on-site position with competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, communications, PR or digital marketing.
• Photography and videography skills.
• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Experience creating content for multiple audiences and channels, including social media.
• Knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS, plus Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create content for social media, newsletters, email marketing, websites and internal communications.
• Capture and edit photography and video content to showcase impact.
• Design materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Grow social media presence via organic and paid campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Update WordPress website and optimise content for SEO.
• Write news stories and press releases to raise awareness of the Hospice.
• Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, social insights) to evaluate performance.
• Create email campaigns through Mailchimp and support targeted communications using CRM data.
• Collaborate with colleagues, volunteers, supporters, patients and families to share meaningful stories.
• Support fundraising initiatives, campaigns and events.
