Job summary

Academy Transformation Trust’s Sutton Community Academy is seeking a positive Cover Supervisor to provide supervision for students when their teacher is absent and to support curriculum coverage across Key Stages. The role includes an induction and ongoing training to help you succeed.

The ideal candidate will have experience with young people in an educational setting and literacy/numeracy to GCSE A-C/9-4 or equivalent. Commencement is January 2027, with a 37-hour week over 39 weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people in an educational setting.
• Strong literacy and numeracy to GCSE A-C/9-4 or equivalent.
• Willingness to undertake induction and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for students when their teacher is not present.
• Support and maintain curriculum cover across all Key Stages.
• Participate in induction and ongoing training.
