Job summary

Sutton Community Academy is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our expanding team. You will provide supervision for students when their teacher is not present and assist with maintaining curriculum cover across all Key Stages.

The role begins January 2027 and requires a positive, student-centered approach. We offer induction, ongoing training and a supportive environment within the Academy Transformation Trust, with opportunities for professional development and a generous benefits

• NJC Point: 8-14
• £23,832 - £26,246 (actual) per annum
• 37 hours per week, 39 weeks

About the role:

The Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to provide outstanding supervision for students when their teacher is not present and to support and maintain curriculum cover at all Key Stages to students and staff. There will be a full induction and on-going training, together with the support of teaching staff committed to providing the best possible education for all our students.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with young people in an educational setting and have literacy and numeracy to GCSE A-C/9-4 or equivalent.
