Job summary

Stantec invites applications for a Degree Apprentice (Level 6) in Civil Engineering in High Wycombe. The programme spans 5 years with 37.5 hours per week, starting 01 September 2027.

You will gain hands-on experience and academic qualifications while working on infrastructure projects with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams. You’ll learn CAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D) and GIS, producing drawings and models, and contribute from concept to delivery with sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• GCSE in Mathematics and English (grade 5/6 or above).
• Maths and English required; GCSEs including Mathematics & an Analytical Science (grade B or above).
• An aptitude for civil engineering principles and learning on the job.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed drawings and technical models for infrastructure projects.
• Use CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D) and GIS to map, model and visualise solutions.
• Assist senior engineers across the project lifecycle with multidisciplinary collaboration.
