Job summary

Stantec UK Limited in Newcastle upon Tyne is offering a Degree Apprentice (Level 6) Civil Engineer to join our Apprentice Programme in the Civil Engineering team. You will gain hands-on experience and academic qualifications to launch a career in civil engineering.

The apprenticeship includes 37.5 hours per week, with a 5-year duration and start date of 01 September 2027. Training includes day release to Leeds Beckett University and block release to Coventry University.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (Grade 5/6 or above).
• BBC including Maths and Analytical Science (Grade B or above).
• Proactive in communication, problem solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed drawings and technical models for infrastructure projects.
• Master CAD and GIS tools to map, model, and visualise solutions.
• Assist Senior Engineers across the project lifecycle with multidisciplinary teams.
