Job summary

Stone King LLP, a leading UK charity law practice, seeks a talented Solicitor to join our Charity & Social Enterprise team. You will advise charities, social enterprises and other purpose-driven organisations and develop your career within a trusted, specialist firm.

You’ll work with supportive colleagues across teams to deliver excellent client service while building your own expertise. The role offers hybrid working with two days in the office and can be based in Cambridge or other offices.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with experience in drafting, legal research, file management and client relationships.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both internally with colleagues and externally with clients.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in the charity and/or social enterprise sector is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take increasing ownership of complex and high-value charity and social enterprise matters with appropriate supervision.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and understand their aims.
• Work collaboratively across the team and wider firm to deliver high-quality client service.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture.
• Take an active role in business development, including networking and client engagement.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client service and ways of working.
• Use and contribute to the team’s know-how and precedents to deliver efficient service.
• Manage matters effectively with commercial awareness and timely delivery.
• Stay informed of legal and sector developments.
