Job summary

Portsmouth Water Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated environmental professional to support the Catchment & Environment Management Team across diverse projects and commitments.

You will assist in delivering the Catchment Management Strategy, work with the Biodiversity Specialist on performance commitments and grant schemes, and help manage communications with internal teams and external stakeholders. A degree in an environmental discipline and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in an environmental discipline or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Administration and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support catchment management on groundwater protection and water quality projects.
• Support Biodiversity Specialist on diverse workstreams and projects.
• Lead on Biodiversity grant schemes and assist with PES and related schemes.
• Represent Catchment & Environment Team in liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Organise workshops, promotions, trials and events and support partner engagements.
• Communicate with external stakeholders and contribute to planning consultations.
