Job summary

Reed in Partnership is seeking a Careers Coach to support unemployed individuals through diagnosis, coaching and tailored job-readiness activities. The role involves outreach to referral partners and local employers, plus running group sessions and one-to-one guidance.

You will help participants identify strengths, prepare CVs, search for roles and practice interview skills, with travel across Tendring, Colchester and Chelmsford as needed.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 A-Levels or equivalent Level 3 Diploma.
• GCSE English Language at least Grade B or equivalent.
• Experience in customer facing roles and outreach is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify participants' skills and suitable training or work opportunities.
• Assist with CV preparation, job-search and interview skills.
• Conduct outreach activities and attend job fairs to generate referrals.
• Facilitate group training and engage with JCP and employers.
