Lifeways Group, one of the UK’s largest providers of specialist support services, is seeking a Specialist Support Trainer to drive training across our teams. You will deliver induction training and ongoing development in areas such as Positive Behaviour Support, physical intervention training, and person-specific conditions.

Travel to cover Lancashire, Stockport and Pontefract is required; you will work with the Practitioner to identify training needs and design solutions, with Lifeways

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in support or care roles in health/social care or education.
• Awareness of Positive Behaviour Support concepts and strategies.
• Experience delivering training solutions or coaching in care or education.

• Motivate and inspire learners to achieve knowledge and skills.
• Plan and deliver effective learning activities in a safe, inclusive environment.
• Promote diverse learning approaches to meet learner and organisation needs.
• Demonstrate understanding of PBS and least restrictive practice.
• Support learners with additional needs and overcome barriers to learning.
• Enable learners to share responsibility for their learning and set goals.
• Provide constructive feedback to learners and Operational Managers.
