TeacherActive is recruiting a dedicated Behaviour Mentor for an Alternative Provision in inner-city Nottingham. The role is full-time with an immediate start, supporting pupils from KS2 through KS4 with behaviour and engagement in education.

You will apply robust behaviour management, build positive relationships and contribute to a calm, productive learning environment. Relevant qualifications in education, youth work or behaviour support are desirable, with experience supporting challenging

Qualifications

• Qualifications in education, youth work or behaviour support are desirable.
• Experience with children and young people with challenging behaviour.
• Experience supporting pupils across KS2–KS4.
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support behaviour management to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Help pupils engage effectively with education and activities.
• Work closely with staff to implement behaviour strategies.
• Promote safe, respectful conduct during lessons and transitions.
