Job summary

Seetec is hiring an Accommodation Support Officer on a fixed-term contract until the end of February 2027, with potential permanent opportunities. Based at HMP Liverpool/Altcourse, you will manage a caseload, conduct assessments, and help participants secure suitable accommodation while navigating housing challenges.

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build trust with individuals from diverse backgrounds and keep accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals in custody or similar settings.
• Ability to assess needs and develop accommodation plans.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of adult males in custody with probation practitioners.
• Carry out initial assessments to develop tailored accommodation plans.
• Support participants in navigating housing challenges.
• Promote understanding of rights, responsibilities and support.
• Record progress and outcomes using case management system.
• Maintain contact with participants and identify any emerging risks.
