Job summary

Seetec is hiring an Accommodation Support Officer on a fixed-term contract until the end of February 2027, with potential permanent opportunities. Based at HMP Liverpool/Altcourse, you will manage a caseload, conduct assessments, and help participants secure suitable accommodation while navigating housing challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of adult males in custody, working closely with probation practitioners and key stakeholders.
• Carry out initial assessments to understand individual circumstances and develop tailored accommodation plans through structured interventions.
• Support participants in navigating housing challenges, ensuring they are kept informed of decisions affecting them.
• Promote understanding of rights, responsibilities, and available support.
• Record progress and outcomes timely and accurately using case management system.
• Maintain contact with participants, identifying any emerging risks and concerns.

• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Salary: £25,877 – £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Location: HMP Liverpool / HMP Altcourse. Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (Mon‑Fri). Contract: Fixed Term Contract – End of Feb 2027.
