Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a Year 6 121 Teaching Assistant in Wolverhampton. You will provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs in a Year 6 class, helping them access learning and build confidence.

Ideal candidates will have experience with children, understanding of SEN or additional needs, and strong patience and communication. Level 2/3 TA qualifications are desirable but not essential; a referral bonus of £250 is offered for successful placements.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• Understanding SEN/additional needs support.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication.
• Level 2/3 TA desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs.
• Assist in planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.
• Help to manage behaviour in a positive and consistent way.
• Support the pupil's social and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals.
