Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups across EYFS to KS2 at a primary school in Mangotsfield, near Bristol. The role offers a full-time position with an immediate start, generous training, and ongoing consultant support.

Ideal candidates have prior experience with children or young people in education or related settings, C&Y work, care or SEND backgrounds, and hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in school, SEND, care or youth settings.
• Ability to support learning and wellbeing with patience and reliability.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Encourage pupil confidence, independence and engagement.
• Support children with additional needs (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language).
• Promote positive behaviour in an inclusive learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
