Better Society Capital in the UK seeks an Asset Class Lead for Lending to own how this capability delivers systems change, social impact and financial return, leading a high-performing team and reporting to a Co-Chief Investment Officer.

You will shape the investment strategy, build a compelling pipeline of opportunities and actively manage portfolio performance while expanding relationships with government, institutions and social sector stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in credit investment and impact finance.
• Experience leading an investment team and portfolio performance.
• Ability to build relationships with government and institutional investors.

Responsibilities

• Set the Lending investment strategy aligned with BSC's goals.
• Build a pipeline of lending opportunities across sub-asset classes.
• Lead governance with Investment Committee and internal teams.
• Manage portfolio performance and borrower relations.
• Lead cross-organisational initiatives and external engagement.
