Job summary

Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity is seeking a Grants Manager to lead and improve our grants and research funding programmes. You will manage the full lifecycle from application to project closure, coordinating review panels and ensuring governance across funding initiatives.

You will work with NHS colleagues, researchers and partners to demonstrate the impact of charitable funding and support senior leaders in evidencing outcomes and impact for patients and care delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience managing grant programmes, funding initiatives or complex projects.
• Ability to assess, monitor and report on programme impact.
• Strong governance, compliance and risk awareness.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Proven ability to analyse data and present concise insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and improvement of grants and research funding programmes.
• Manage the full lifecycle from application to project closure.
• Coordinate funding review panels and decision-making.
• Develop systems and governance for funding programmes.
• Monitor outcomes and reporting against milestones.
• Collaborate with NHS colleagues, researchers and partners.
• Demonstrate impact of charitable funding to trustees and supporters.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to Grants & Research Officer.
• Ensure compliance with governance and audit requirements.
