Job summary

Colten Care at Belmont Secondary School in Rawtenstall is seeking a Vocational Lead Instructor to oversee the vocational education provision for pupils. The role includes line management of staff and ensuring the vocational offer aligns with pupil needs while upholding the school's ethos.

The post is permanent; term time only, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary up to £35,000 per annum. Applicants should have GCSEs at C/4 or better in English, Maths and Science and hold vocational qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of School in developing a high-quality specialist provision for SEMH pupils.
• Uphold the ethos, aims and values of the school at all times.
• Help manage the structure and organisation of the school day.
• Contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
• Develop and enhance teaching practice within the Vocational Education Department.
