Job summary

Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is seeking a UK Programmes Officer to join Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) in London. The role focuses on delivering domestic programmes, coordinating projects with partners, and managing grant processes across the UK.

You will monitor performance, support due diligence, budgets, and expenditure reporting, and contribute to continuous programme improvement while engaging stakeholders and volunteers.

Qualifications

• This role requires a degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in international development or related field.
• Experience coordinating programmes with external partners and stakeholders.
• Experience in monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and programme administration.
• Experience reviewing budgets, expenditure reports, and financial documentation.
• Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic programmes and grant-making activities with partners and internal teams.
• Oversee grant processes, budgets, expenditure reporting, and compliance.
• Monitor programme performance and contribute to evaluation and learning.
• Prepare impact reports and maintain programme records and systems.
• Support volunteer engagement, community-based projects, and emergency preparedness initiatives.
