Job summary

North Northamptonshire Council is seeking a Team Leader for the Crisis & Resilience Fund in the Stronger & Safer Communities Service. Based in Kettering, you will lead a small team delivering government-funded support to residents facing financial hardship, ensuring high-quality, person-centered casework and strong partnership working.

The role requires supervisory experience, excellent organisation and outstanding communication, with travel across Northamptonshire and occasional hours outside

Qualifications

• Experience of supervisory position in a high-paced environment.
• Experience of managing casework, and taking a person-centred approach.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Experience of working with a variety of stakeholders, colleagues and members of the public.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral.
• Desirable: NVQ Level 4 in leadership or equivalent.
• Experience of using case management systems and monitoring performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the delivery of the Crisis & Resilience Fund programme ensuring adherence to DWP guidance.
• Manage and develop a team of CRF Officers with training and supervision.
• Work with the Partnership Manager to continually develop and improve delivery.
