Job summary

Human Appeal in Manchester seeks an Operations Manager to oversee the office’s daily operations, procurement and administration, and to support security and a safe, well-functioning workplace. This is a full-time fixed-term contract with a view to progression into a permanent role.

The role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to humanitarian work and organizational impact. Applicant should have university-level qualifications in management or supply chain and strong MS Office skills;

Qualifications

• University degree or professional certification in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and English language.
• Arabic language skills considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, assets and administration ensuring donor regulations and asset controls are followed.
• Manage warehouse operations, stock security, asset registers and regular reporting.
• Coordinate planning across support departments at national level and review monthly operations reports.
• Develop and implement security strategies, training and compliance with policies.
