Job summary

Compassion in World Farming International in Godalming, Surrey, is seeking a Management Accountant to strengthen financial insight, budgeting and reporting across our global organisation. This permanent, full-time role offers a hybrid pattern with 2 days in the office and 37 hours per week.

You will produce monthly management accounts, support budgeting and forecasting, maintain data integrity in Netsuite, and partner with budget holders to explain financial performance.

Qualifications

• Experience producing or supporting monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting and explaining movements.
• Experience with accounting/finance systems, preferably Netsuite or similar.
• Strong Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with proactive error correction.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
• Charity finance experience including restricted/unrestricted funds is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Management reporting and analysis - monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentary.
• Budgeting and forecasting - support annual budgets and periodic forecasts and staff cost monitoring.
• Financial data integrity - maintain coding structures, grant records and reporting in Netsuite.
• Stakeholder support - help budget holders understand performance and reporting requirements.
• Process improvement - identify ways to improve reporting and financial insight.
