Job summary

Compassion in World Farming International is seeking a Management Accountant to strengthen financial insight, reporting and data integrity across our global organisation. This permanent, full-time role is based in Godalming with a hybrid pattern of 2 days per week in the office.

You’ll lead monthly management accounts, support budgeting/forecasting, and ensure robust coding and reporting structures within Netsuite, enabling informed decision-making and strong financial governance.

Qualifications

• Experience producing monthly management accounts with variance analysis and clear commentary.
• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Experience working with accounting/finance systems (ideally Netsuite).
• Strong Excel skills including lookups, pivots and data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail with proactive error correction.
• Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
• Experience in charity finance, restricted/unrestricted funds and donor reporting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Management reporting and analysis: monthly management accounts, variance analysis, clear commentary.
• Budgeting and forecasting: support annual budgets and periodic forecasts; monitor staff costs.
• Financial data integrity: maintain coding structures, grant records and reporting frameworks (Netsuite).
• Stakeholder support: help budget holders understand financial performance and reporting requirements.
• Process improvement: identify ways to improve reporting, processes and financial insight.
