Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a skilled Sustainability Data & LCA Specialist to drive decarbonisation initiatives. You will collect Scope 1-3 emissions data, support internal and external reporting, and help identify carbon hotspots with engineering and sustainability teams.

The role requires 3+ years in sustainability within an industrial setting and experience with LCA tools (GaBi, SimaPro). Collaboration across disciplines is essential, with a proactive, change‑driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience collecting and evaluating Scope 1, 2 and 3 data.
• Experience with LCA modelling using GaBi, SimaPro or similar tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 14040/44, GHG Protocol and ISO14067.
• Ability to work with large, complex data sets across engineering domains.
• Independent, proactive and able to drive tangible change.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to collect annual Scope 1-3 emission data across the business.
• Assist in internal and external sustainability reporting (annual reports, regulatory reporting).
• Identify CO2 hotspots and opportunities with engineering and sustainability teams.
• Lead CO2 reduction action plans with engineering and procurement teams.
• Benchmark vehicle programmes against competitors and track embedded carbon.
