Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Senior Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) Practitioner to join our Product Sustainability team in Europe. This customer-facing role delivers ISO-compliant LCAs, EPDs, and PCFs for global clients, leveraging advanced digital tools and decarbonization strategies.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of LCA experience, relevant certifications, and strong knowledge of EU regulations (Battery Regulation, CBAM, EPR). You will work with global teams and help shape next-gen LCA services.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in scientific discipline or engineering.
• Language requirement: Fluent in English and at least one other EMEA language.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Senior LCA modeling.
• Experience modeling EPDs from LCAs and PCR knowledge.
• Comfortable with customers and scoping their needs to support sales teams.
• Experience analyzing both experimental and modeled data sets.
• Strong understanding of LCA models and software tools.
• Experience in LCA related services including PCF and EPD.

Responsibilities

• Perform full LCA technical service to project manage LCA projects and ensure compliance.
• Generate LCAs and simplified EPDs, PCFs and regulatory documentation including EPR, CBAM, etc.
• Understand global PCR for core products, especially building materials.
• Manage complex projects and interact with customers and global colleagues.
• Communicate data-driven LCA results for environmental decision-making and decarbonization.
• Maintain knowledge base for LCA services (PCR, PCF, EPD) and related standards.
• Lead client data analysis and contribute to expanding software capabilities.
