Job summary

Ethos is seeking a Life Cycle Assessment Specialist to lead whole life carbon assessments for data centre projects and drive sustainability reporting. You will model impacts with One Click LCA, contribute to LEED/BREEAM certifications, and ensure EU taxonomy compliance.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise design for low carbon performance and deliver clear client-facing reports highlighting opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience in Life Cycle Assessment / Whole Life Carbon analysis.
• Strong understanding of LCA methods and reporting for built environment projects.
• Experience applying EU Taxonomy requirements to project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Whole Life Carbon analyses for data centre projects.
• Use One Click LCA to model, analyse, and report environmental impacts.
• Support sustainability certifications (LEED, BREEAM) and regulatory alignment.
• Collaborate with design teams to optimise environmental performance from early design stages.
• Prepare high-quality reports, dashboards, and client presentations.
• Advise on low-carbon design strategies, material selection, and circular economy principles.
• Stay up to date with evolving EU regulations and sustainability frameworks.
