Job summary

Insite Group is seeking an Audit Manager specializing in Charities and Not-for-Profit entities in London. The role combines technical audit expertise with client relationship management, team leadership and commercial awareness within a growing specialist team.

The ideal candidate is ACA/ACCA qualified with a background in accounting and audit practice, able to oversee delivery from planning to final reporting while nurturing junior staff and contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with audit experience in practice.
• Experience managing audits with limited supervision.
• Experience auditing charities or not-for-profits.
• Knowledge of Charities SORP and regulatory environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mentoring junior staff and guiding the team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of charity and not-for-profit audit clients, overseeing delivery, deadlines and client service.
• Lead audits from planning through to final reporting.
• Review audit files to ensure high technical standards.
• Advise clients on accounting, controls, governance and sector matters.
• Apply knowledge of charity reporting requirements (Charities SORP).
• Build strong client relationships and act as main contact.
• Support proposals, tenders and business development activities.
• Coach, supervise and develop junior team members.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and sector developments.
• Contribute to internal training and team initiatives.
