Job summary

Anthony Nolan is seeking a Research Assistant to join the Immunotherapy team at the Hampstead Research Institute in London. You will support translational projects in cell therapy and stem cell transplantation, demonstrating strong mammalian cell culture and molecular biology skills.

The role requires a BSc and practical lab experience; you will work on multiple projects, maintain equipment, and communicate progress in a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences or related field with at least a 2:2.
• 6–12 months of practical laboratory experience with competency in mammalian cell culture and at least one molecular biology technique.
• Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Evidence of keeping accurate experimental records.

Responsibilities

• Assist immunotherapy group research across all projects.
• Provide technical and analytic support to on-going programmes in the immunotherapy group.
• Assist with the maintenance of specialised equipment and the smooth running of the laboratory.
• Plan and organise your work with relatively little input.
• Give regular updates on progress both in oral and written form.
