Job summary

Sail Biomedicines is seeking a Scientist I for their Preclinical and Translational Assays team. This is a lab-based, onsite role focused on developing, optimizing, and executing bioassays to characterize activity, mechanism, and immune responses for eRNA-enabled candidates.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in automation, mammalian cell culture, multiparameter flow cytometry, serology/immunoassays, qPCR, and strong scientific documentation, with collaboration across Immunology,

Qualifications

2–4+ years of relevant lab experience (industry preferred).
Hands-on experience with multiparameter flow cytometry and mammalian cell culture.
Experience with automation, PBMC isolation, qPCR, ELISA/MSD, or immunoassays.
Strong understanding of assay development principles and documentation.

Responsibilities

Bioassay Development & Execution: develop, optimize, and execute cell-based and immunoassay workflows.
Sample Operations & Study Support: coordinate sample receipt and tracking, ensure biosafety compliance.
Data, Documentation & Collaboration: analyze data, maintain ELNs, present findings, partner with cross-functional teams.
Manage multiple concurrent experiments with high standards for safety and timelines.
