Job summary

IMU Biosciences is seeking a Scientist I to join the laboratory platform team and generate high-quality immunology data using spectral flow cytometry and single-cell workflows.

You will work on day-to-day operation of the immune profiling platform, collaborating with scientists to support routine assays and platform development. Saturday work on a rota is required, with time off in lieu and overtime pay provided.

Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc in biology with hands-on lab experience.
  • Strong flow cytometry experience with 15-colour panels.
  • Experience isolating immune cells from human blood/tissue.
  • Attention to detail and data quality and reproducibility.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform immune phenotyping and assays using spectral flow cytometry.
  • Isolate and prepare human blood and tissue samples.
  • Generate high-quality, reproducible immunology data.
  • Maintain SOPs, QC processes and data integrity.
  • Collaborate across the lab on multiple concurrent projects.
