Join Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust as an Immunisation Programme Data Administrator Assistant. This temporary full-time role will see you support the vaccination programme by maintaining databases, creating reports, and assisting with staff training while working at Brighton General Hospital and occasionally traveling within the SCFT area.
Immunisation Programme Data Administrator Assistant (Brighton) - Full time (condensed to 9 working days out of 10 considered) temporary contract for 4 months, September to December 2025.
An opportunity has arisen for a temporary Band 3 Immunisation Data Assistant to join the SCFT Sussex Immunisation Service.
To assist the Data and Admin Lead in maintaining service-wide systems and providing information related to vaccination consent and uptake, sickness and absences, and personnel data. This includes handling sensitive staff personal issues, both in person and on the telephone.
To assist in the induction and training of new staff members.
The SCFT Sussex Immunisation Service vaccinates children aged 0-19 years in schools and clinics across East Sussex, West Sussex, and Brighton & Hove.
This post will be based at Brighton General Hospital, but you may be required to travel occasionally to provide support in offices within the whole SCFT area.

The successful applicant will assist the Data Lead with creating, developing, maintaining, managing, and improving information processes and service-specific internal database systems, e.g., E-Consent.
Assist the Data Lead in creating reports and newsletters of high content and presentation quality, using multiple sources, including charts, graphs, and tables, to meet local monitoring requirements in line with NHS guidance. Also, referencing and indexing long, moderately complex documents.
Provide flexible operational support to the team and cover for annual or sick leave.
Support the team in managing complex administrative workflows proactively.
Manage a comprehensive and up-to-date filing and retrieval system.
Handle correspondence appropriately and, in the absence of the relevant manager, deal with urgent correspondence.
