Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking an Immunisation Nurse to join the Surrey CFHS immunisation team. The role is based in Woking, 15 hours per week, term time only, and focuses on delivering school and community immunisations in line with local policies and PGDs.

You will administer vaccines, maintain cold chain integrity, mentor junior staff, and contribute to service improvement while delivering compassionate care to children and families.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with experience working with children and young people.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• IT literate and able to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of school and community immunisation programmes.
• Administer vaccines safely with correct cold chain storage and documentation.
• Prepare, transport and maintain immunisation equipment and vaccine stocks.
• Act as Lead Nurse when competent, supervising other staff.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and participate in development and audits.
• Communicate with children, families and multidisciplinary teams.
