HCRG Care Group is seeking a Band 5 Immunisation Nurse to join the immunisation team across Children and Family Health Surrey. The post is 15 hours per week, term time only, based at Walton Health Centre, with responsibilities across school and community immunisation programmes.

You will administer vaccines, maintain cold chain, support families, mentor junior staff, and contribute to audits and policy development while upholding safeguarding standards.

Competenze

• Registered Nurse with experience working with children and young people.
• Knowledge of NHS issues, clinical governance, and risk management.
• Effective written and verbal communication; time management.
• IT literacy and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Mansioni

• Assist delivery of school and community immunisation programmes per local policies and SOPs.
• Administer vaccines safely with correct cold chain storage and documentation.
• Prepare, transport and maintain immunisation equipment and vaccine stocks for sessions.
• Act as Lead Nurse when competent, supervising bank nurses and students.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and participate in training and audits.
• Communicate with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams; advocate where needed.
• Organise workload with accurate records and data management.
• Participate in policy development, service improvement and audits.
• Undertake duties consistent with role and grade.
