Job summary

Dorset HealthCare is seeking a Band 5 Immunisation Nurse to support the Community Vaccination Service across Dorset, with a base at Kings Park Hospital, Bournemouth.

This part-time, term-time-only role spans 22.5 hours per week and requires flexibility to meet service needs; duties include administering vaccines in care homes, clinics, schools, and patient homes, with DBS clearance funded by the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Administering vaccines in care homes, in patients' homes, community clinics and schools.
• Collecting vaccines and equipment from vaccine bases.
• Triage of consent forms.
• Providing expert knowledge to service users.
• Community engagement.
