Job summary

Certain Advantage is seeking an Immigration Specialist based in Filton on an initial 11-month contract. The role is 35 hours per week with a rate of £46.82 per hour Umbrella, focusing on managing UK immigration processes for business travel and short-term assignments.

You will liaise with external providers, coordinate visa applications, monitor expiry dates and provide immigration guidance to HR and managers, while ensuring compliance and handling invoices and projects as required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience or qualification in UK immigration (essential).
• Experience working with external providers or government bodies (desirable).
• Excellent communication and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage UK immigration processes for business travel and short-term assignments.
• Liaise with external immigration providers and manage visa applications.
• Coordinate A1 and Health Insurance Certificate requests.
• Monitor visa expiry dates and manage renewals.
• Provide immigration advice and support to HR, managers and employees.
• Deliver immigration guidance and awareness sessions.
• Manage immigration requirements for non-UK/non-Irish external hires.
• Ensure compliance with Home Office sponsor licence obligations.
• Manage provider invoices and contribute to immigration projects.
• Monitor immigration legislation and ensure ongoing compliance.
