Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking an Immigration Consultant based in Filton to support a leading Defence and Aerospace client. The role focuses on visa and sponsorship processes, UK immigration rules, and ensuring right to work for international moves.

You'll manage external immigration providers, track visa expiry dates, handle renewals, and contribute to global mobility projects while advising HR and hiring teams on compliance and best practices.

• Support internal stakeholders including HR, recruitment, and security on immigration matters.

As the Immigration Consultant, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

You will be involved in:

• Manage interface with External Immigration Consultants currently in charge of immigration administration of moves to the UK in order to ensure the initial and continuing right to work of employees going on "short international move" therefore ensuring compliance with EU and national laws
• Collect and provide all the necessary data needed by the provider to manage the administrative visa requests according to country combination and activity performed from the business / HRBPs (job description, salary info, home and host entity details etc…)
• Manage A1 certificate requests + Health Insurance certificates if applicable
• Collect on a regular basis the company information and any other official documents (such as KBIS etc…) and share them with the provider
• Ensure a global tracking of employees' visa expiry dates
• Manage the employees' visa renewals and change of employment applications
• Ensure our sponsor licence responsibilities with the Home Office are met
• Handle external provider financial management
• Contribute to national and transnational key projects
• Provide a one-stop shop for internal purposes (HR Managers,HRBPs, Line Managers, Recruitment Business Partners, Customer Services, Reward Operations, Global Mobility, and Security):
• Advice, guidance, support to applications and coordination
• Organisation of awareness sessions on immigration rules
• Consolidation of knowledge with transnational HR (GM, SPIR international)
• Contribution to the collaborative network of local Immigration Experts
• Legal monitoring

• Manage the immigration steps in the End-To-End External Recruitment process of non-UK/non-Irish nationals (actions performed in and outside the HR tool):
• Contact the selected candidate
• Check their immigration title
• If applicable, initiate the immigration provider and follow up the case
• Once issued, review the immigration documents and confirm in the HR tool

Your skillset may include:

• Diploma/Certification or strong experience in UK immigration
• Diploma in labour law would be beneficial
• Relevant experience in working with external bodies/organisations
• Demonstrated experience in negotiation and managing operational tasks
• An awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth
• Experience in giving immigration advise
• Working along side visa provider
• Inbound UK immigration knowledge
• Knowledge of Visa, Sponsorship
• Stakeholder management and working with external organisations for Immigration
