Job description

The Role

As the Immigration and Compliance Advisor at Cambridge, you will provide a high-quality and timely advisory service to overseas staff, both current and prospective, on a range of immigration issues and applications. Act as first point of contact for all employment screening matters and as liaison with the University's external screening agency.

About You

In order to succeed in this role, you will join us with:

  • Working knowledge of the UK immigration system and/or criminal records disclosure would be desirable.
  • Experience of working at an administrative level in Human Resources within a higher education or public sector organisation, and of working in a customer-focused environment.
  • Educated to degree level/level 6 vocational qualifications, or with an equivalent level of practical experience.
