Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking dependable Teaching Assistants to join Crosby schools immediately. You will support pupils aged 11-16 across key subjects, work 1:1 or with small groups, and assist teachers with marking while monitoring classroom dynamics to maintain a safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting young people in schools, youth work, or tutoring.

• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willing to immediately obtain).

Responsibilities

• Support pupils aged 11-16 academically, socially, and emotionally across key subjects.
• Work 1:1 or in small targeted groups to keep students engaged and on task.
• Assist teachers with marking standard worksheets and tracking daily student effort.
• Monitor classroom dynamics to ensure a productive, safe, and respectful learning environment.
• Build positive, professional rapport with pupils to boost classroom confidence.
