TeacherActive is currently working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) seeking a passionate Science Teacher for an immediate start on a long-term temporary basis.

You will teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics, manage behaviour effectively, and help students progress academically across the secondary age range. The role offers daily pay with market-leading rates.

Qualifications

• QTS with Science specialization (NQTs welcome)
• Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Enthusiastic, adaptable and committed approach to teaching

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across the secondary age range
• Manage classroom behaviour and support students to make strong academic progress
