TeacherActive is working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) to appoint a passionate Science Teacher for a long-term temporary role with an immediate start.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across the secondary age range, manage classroom behaviour and support students to make strong academic progress. QTS with a Science specialism is required; NQTs are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• QTS with a Science specialism (NQTs are welcome to apply).
• Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• An enthusiastic, adaptable and committed approach to teaching.
