TeacherActive is recruiting a qualified Science Teacher for a long-term temporary role in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT). The post requires delivering Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons with strong classroom management and curriculum knowledge, from an immediate start.

The role involves planning engaging science lessons, maintaining high behavioural standards and supporting students to make strong academic progress in a welcoming secondary school environment.

Qualifications

• QTS with a Science specialism (NQTs welcome).
• Experience teaching Science in a secondary school.
• Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across the secondary age range.
