Job summary

JDR Recruitment is currently seeking Assembly Operatives for a manufacturing company based in Radcliffe, M26. You will read technical drawings, interpret specifications and assemble products to exacting standards. The role offers regular hours and immediate start for suitable candidates.

Working Monday to Thursday 7:30am–5:00pm and Friday 7:30am–2:00pm, with a pay rate of £13.50 per hour. Ongoing work with prospects for permanent roles and weekly pay are available.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in a factory environment.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and hard-working.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work; eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components to specification.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to determine material and assembly requirements.
• Accurately measure and cut materials to specified dimensions.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ensure all finished products meet required quality standards.
• Carry out quality checks throughout the production process.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Assist with other duties as required to support production.
