Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking Assembly Operators for morning shifts in the Ammanford area (Carmarthenshire). Roles involve assembling products on a production line, using basic hand tools, and performing quality checks. Immediate starts and a potential permanent contract after 12 weeks are offered.

The position is full-time with a 6:00am–2:00pm schedule and weekly pay. No weekends, with stable, ongoing work available.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, construction, warehousing or other hands-on roles.
• Experience using basic hand tools would be an advantage.
• Reliability, punctuality and hardworking attitude required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products on a production line using basic hand and power tools.
• Fit, secure and check components and carry out basic quality checks.
• Prepare finished products for dispatch and ensure area is clean and safe.
• Work towards daily production targets and maintain organisation.

What Will You Be Doing?

You will be working as part of a busy production team, helping to assemble high-quality products using basic hand tools and equipment.

Your duties will include:

• Assembling products and components on a production line

• Using basic hand tools and power tools

• Fitting, securing and checking components

• Carrying out basic quality checks

• Preparing finished products for dispatch

• Handling and moving products safely

• Working towards daily production targets

• Keeping your work area clean and organised

Please note: This is a hands‑on, physical role involving standing for long periods and some manual handling.

Who Are We Looking For?
