Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment partners with secondary schools in Market Rasen to appoint Teaching Assistants from September, providing 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of additional needs.

You will work closely with teaching staff and the SEND team to support students with needs such as SEMH, ASD, dyslexia, and ADHD, including personal care where required. This role offers an immediate start and potential for long-term placement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with additional needs is preferred.
• Be patient, empathetic and resilient in supporting learners.
• Able to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Confident supporting students with behavioural, social and emotional needs.
• Comfort with personal care where required (desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students across key subjects.
• Work closely with teaching staff and the SEND team to plan support.
• Help students access learning, build confidence and reach potential.
• Support students with SEMH, ASD, dyslexia, ADHD and related needs.
