Job summary

Envision Education is seeking a confident Cover Supervisor for an immediate start in Enfield. This fully classroom-based temporary role requires experience in UK schools and the ability to supervise classes when teachers are absent, delivering pre-set work and maintaining engagement throughout the day.

The ideal candidate will have strong behaviour management, communication and a calm, professional approach, with DBS on Update Service preferred or willing to apply for one.

Qualifications

• Recent, relevant experience working in a UK school is essential.
• Experience as a Cover Supervisor, HLTA or classroom-based school role is valued.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across the school during teacher absences.
• Deliver pre-set work and keep pupils focused and on task.
• Maintain clear classroom expectations and manage behaviour confidently.
• Build positive, professional relationships with pupils and staff.
• Support learning and encourage pupil participation, including SEND needs.
