Job summary

Envision Education seeks a dedicated Cover Supervisor for an all-through school in Enfield. You will cover classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-set work, and maintain engaging learning environments across the school.

Ideal candidates will have HLTA qualifications or prior cover supervisor experience and a passion for inclusive education. You will work alongside experienced staff, support pupils with diverse needs, and contribute to a positive school culture.

Qualifications

• Experience or HLTA qualification preferred.
• Confident and organised communicator with young people.
• Strong classroom management skills or willingness to develop them.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across the school during teacher absences and deliver pre-set work.
• Maintain a safe, respectful and focused learning environment.
• Support students with additional needs as required.
• Take part in break and lunchtime duties to promote wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teaching and support staff to monitor progress.
