Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Imaging Support Manager to lead a patient-focused radiology reception and administration service across multiple sites. You will manage clerical staff, collaborate with radiology teams and ensure high-quality service delivery in line with NHS standards.

The role requires degree-level education or equivalent, plus experience in radiology admin, people management and governance.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree standard, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in outpatient or radiology administration.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Experience with electronic patient administration systems.
• Strong IT skills with MS Office and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise and mentor imaging clerical staff including radiology PAs and coordinators.
• Manage clerical teams and allocate workloads for reception and admin staff.
• Ensure governance and safe working procedures per trust policies.
• Organise repairs, servicing and ordering of clerical supplies.
• Monitor waiting lists and support service continuity during leave.
