Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced MRI Superintendent Radiographer (Diagnostic) to lead the MRI service at the Chelsea site. The role combines clinical leadership with professional governance, inspection readiness for QSI and CQC, and development of an MRI training programme.

You will collaborate with Radiologists, Physicists and the Practice Educators, while supporting workforce development and service improvements across Chelsea, Sutton and Cavendish Square as

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a radiographer.
• DCR/BSc in Radiography or equivalent.
• Significant recent postgraduate experience in MRI.
• Master’s level qualification or equivalent specialist expertise.
• Evidence of sustained CPD relevant to the post.

Responsibilities

• Provide Superintendent level clinical and professional leadership for the MRI service at the Chelsea site.
• Lead service development and provide expert clinical and technical advice.
• Manage day-to-day workload and ensure standardized service across sites.
• Develop and implement the MRI training programme in line with professional standards.
• Act as MRI responsible safety person and lead for QSI/CQC visits.
• Work across sites (Chelsea, Sutton, Cavendish Square) as required.
