Job summary

Cavell Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, in Enfield, seeks a Clinical Lead for Imaging (MRI/CT). This full-time role (37.5 hours) requires overseeing imaging services, coordinating with radiologists and the DCS, and delivering a high-quality patient-focused service. A strong MRI background and supervisory experience are essential.

The position offers a competitive salary up to £53,000 per year, plus benefits, and a flexible shift pattern to cover imaging operations across the department.

Qualifications

• Experience in an acute hospital setting in a Senior Radiography post or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in MRI; CT experience desirable.
• Experience with GE MRI scanners is essential.
• Experience in customer care and handling challenging customers.
• Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography required.
• At least 2 years supervisory experience within a multi-modality imaging department.
• Knowledge of IRMER/IRR17 regulations and healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical service delivery with professional staffing and patient-focused service.
• Maintain dialogue with Consultant Radiologists and support the DCS to maximise sessional use.
• Attend meetings with Radiologists to discuss clinical and operational issues.
• Build and maintain multi-disciplinary consultant relations to meet clinical requirements.
• Monitor revenue capture procedures; ensure charges are accurate and timely.
• Conduct radiographic examinations autonomously and within a team, meeting standards.
• Ensure imaging department compliance with statutory regulations and mandatory training.
