Job summary

Rullion is recruiting an Information Management (IM) Lead to set delivery objectives for the IM Lead & team, monitor performance and provide direction on priorities, resources, risks and improvement actions. You will work with SZC Digital SLT in London to translate strategy into an actionable operating plan.

You will oversee capability, capacity and professional standards, ensure governance and reporting, manage relationships with partners, and drive adoption of best practices across programmes

Job description

Set delivery objectives for the IM Lead & team, monitor performance and provide direction on priorities, resources, risks and improvement actions.

Oversee organisational capability, capacity and professional standards, ensuring the IM Lead has the direction and support needed to manage the central IM team.

Support the SZC Digital SLT at senior governance and assurance forums, resolving cross-programme issues within delegated authority and escalating strategic matters.

In addition:

Translate the SZC Digital strategic direction into an integrated Information Management operating model with an associated delivery roadmap to improve the service provided to our organisation.

Manage the Digital/IT Information Management service, ensuring consistent governance, standards, controls and ways of working across programmes, functions and the supply chain.

Provide consolidated performance, risk, compliance and maturity reporting to SZC Digital SLT, escalating material issues and decisions where required.

Manage relationships with programme and functional leaders, delivery partners and suppliers to drive adoption of agreed Information Management requirements.

Promote Information Management as a discipline, increasing organisational awareness and adoption of best practices. Ensure the IM programme plan is well understood and key workstreams are delivered through effective business change practices.

These accountabilities sit below the SZC Digital SLT ownership of mandate, strategy, investment and executive assurance, and above the IM Lead's responsibility for developing and implementing standards, procedures, team plans and day-to-day delivery.

The distinction is based on:

SZC Digital SLT:

Owns the mandate, strategic direction, investment, executive assurance and organisational outcomes.

IM Manager:

Translates strategy into an integrated operating plan, manages the enterprise service and portfolio, coordinates stakeholders, and oversees performance, risk and capability.

Develops and implements standards, procedures, team plans and delivery activities under the Manager's direction.

IM team:

Executes the defined services, controls, assurance activities and improvement initiatives.
