Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) in Telford seeks an ILS Engineer to oversee day-to-day management of ILS work packages, coordinating with engineering, logistics and safety teams. The role requires practical/applicable experience in supportability analyses and the Defence Logistics Framework.

Hybrid working is available with focus on delivering robust ILS solutions. The successful candidate will apply ASD S3000L methodologies, manage data validation, and contribute to equipment supportability

Qualifications

• Good understanding of the support engineering/ILS discipline.
• Experience applying Def-Stan 00-60/00-600 and Defence Logistic Framework.
• Working knowledge of SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead ILS work packages and deliverables.
• Perform supportability analyses and LRIs as required.
• Validate OEM data and supportability documentation across projects.

We design, manufacture and support military vehicles used by the British Army and international customers.Position OverviewAs an ILS Engineer, reporting to ILS Lead, you will need to ensure the day to day management and performance/delivery for assigned projects, sub contracts, vendors and/or accounts, whilst applying a depth and breadth of experience relating to complex engineering problems, challenges and issues associated with related work packages.Position Duties and ResponsibilitiesOverall responsibility for the assigned ILS work packagePractical and theoretical supportability assessments on existing and new systems, Sub-Assemblies & Components.
